Introductions: The Origins of Yakra

Before I go on about what all I think, introductions are in order.

The idea of Yakra started out as a dwarf cavalier, at a LARP. In his First representation, Axe and Shield were wielded, battles were fought, drinks were had, and so on. The idea of a burly, rough Dwarf with a huge shield sticks.

Yakra the Second was a 3.0 D&D Character, a Dwarven Fighter, whom went from levels 1-6 before being retired. Noteable accomplishments include the acquisition of a +1 Frost Dwarven Waraxe.

Yakra the Third was the Yakra you've come to know (and love?). WoW, Dwarven Warrior, Historically Protection.

Yakra the Fourth was my Car.

Yakra the Fifth was my First 4.0 D&D Character, a Dwarven Warrior. Noteable accomplishments include nearly dying several times in the introductory campaign, and consistently failing to land a "Tide of Iron" attack.

Yakra the Sixth will be a Figureprint, which has been ordered, and will hopefully arive shortly.

Hey Yakra,

I'm building an index of WoW information and I've recently added 5 links to Mirror Shield in various categories. Each 'Listing' has a link, summary, user rating, as well as spaces for full description and images which are available to website owners.

You can see a search page of your listings here to get an idea of how the site works:

http://www.worldofwarcraftjunction.com/search/mirror%20shield/?ordering=newest&searchphrase=exact&limit=15

Forums are now open and have threads for posting additional link requests for new content, or changes and error fixes in existing listings. You can also email me personally if you have new content you would like listed. Feel free to make my email available to staff but direct users to the forums please.

Though WoW-j has a large and useful amount of information already, it is still young and growing daily. It's future is very much open to discussion or suggestion and any feedback is really appreciated.

Good Luck and Thanks,
Rich 'Lasitus'
