This post is overdue, and I apologize for that.
I stopped playing WoW shortly after my last post. Not out of any dislike for the game, but for the frustrations which can arise from the people that play it. I don't plan on going into any detail.
There are a few things which may be on the horizon:
1) I may pick up WoW again at some point, on a different server. Among those whom I've kept in contact with, a few have expressed interest scaling down to / forming a ten man guild. If this happens, it would probably be after Thanksgiving - some time after Aertimus has had time to get into the school year.
2) I may re-purpose this blog. I haven't stopped reflecting, really. Just hasn't been about tanking.
If your interested/curious in the above scenarios, stay subscribed. You may see another post someday, or you may not. There is only one way to know.
( Alternatively, you could follow me on Twitter, which I infrequently ((but increasingly)) use. http://twitter.com/chad_silva )
Thank you all for your readership. It has certainly meant a lot to me.

aww :( sorry to hear your wow has driven you nuts, I enjoyed reading your game updates!
It's always sad to see a WoW blog fall off the map, but I'm glad that you're moving on to other pursuits in your life that you find more rewarding. :)
As far as WoW goes, we'll leave the light on for you, and I look forward to any future posts about tanky goodness which really don't apply to me, but I always found fascinating anyway. ;)
You'll be missed. Stop by and say hi every once in a while.
Sad to see you go, you were one of the people who convinced me to keep going on a Warrior tank when all other sources said we sucked.
Thank you and good luck in the future.
Yakra hasn't gone anywhere. He's still here, in fact he just wrote this post. So he may stop playing for a little while...
I haven't played my warrior since WOTLK came out. I'm sitting at L70 in Ironforge on the bridge in epics, hard-earned epics which I take as memories of my finest times in warrior tanking.
It isn't about the gear, it isn't about my warrior, it's about the fact I may have stopped playing...
but I'm still a warrior—so hang in there, brothers, for the best has yet to come! RAAAWR!
Sorry to hear that. However as I'll always say to anyone in the same position - whatever keeps you happy is where you should be.
I look forward to your next post, whether it's in the next week or the next lifetime.
See you around...
The realm transfer thing, and toning it down to a 10-man group, is a really good idea.
Whatever you decide, I wish you success and happiness. I enjoy your blog and will continue to check in from time to time, in hopes to see you re-emerge.
FYI, *Forgiven* of Terokkar is a casual alliance guild that raids. We could use an experienced few for our three-night a week raid schedule. :-) You can e-mail me at franklin DOT brown AT gmail DOT com if you'd like to know more.
I too can guarantee that Yakra is still around. We have been up to some fun stuff and some productive stuff and it has all been very enjoyable.
But part of him will always be Yakra the dwarf tank - there is no ending that.
I keep checking this blog, hoping to see Yakra make the GY run back to WoW, but, sadly, it looks like that's not happening.
Hate to say it, but it looks like our man wiped hard on the wife boss here. First the gquit, and now this.
Pro tip, kids: Learn to manage your spouse aggro!
You OBVIOUSLY have no clue. He did not leave LOKI, Darkspear, or WoW because of wife aggro. He left because the people in our guild turned out to be mostly dicks and when you play a game to play with those people and they turn out to be dicks, why play any more?
@Arthas
No "wife boss" involved - just people who act like asses, and make WoW not something fun. You seem to rank among those people, only you go on to make assumptions about RL, on people's blogs.
Your a real lv 80 internet tough guy. Grats!
okay. it's time to come back now.
Any particular reason?
it's because i very much enjoy hearing what you have to say and i actually check back here everyday. i know you've had some experience with "bad" players which has taken away from your enjoyment of both this blog as well as the game. please keep in mind that the people with the least to say tend to say it the loudest and they are far inferior in numbers than the quiet majority that enjoy your work. do what you enjoy and ignore the naysayers because there are people out here in the interwebs that support you even if we too often don't express it.
Alright... Thanksgiving is upon us. You said (heck, I'm gonna exaggerate and say you PROMISED) to come back at Thanksgiving. ;-)
